How can I serve by giving?

Please prayerfully consider if you are able to help meet one of the following needs:

1) Russian intern: BTCP grad and military officer Sergei Efimov is retiring from the military and would like to join us as a BTCP roaming instructor. Sergei is not only a gifted and respected teacher, but also a deeply devoted man; what a blessing in that godly Russian military officers are a rare treat for the church. His pension will cover 1/3 of his living expenses and we'd like to make up the rest. ($400/mo or $4800 for 2007)

2) Sacred Marriage: Marriages are in great need here, even among pastors. Gary Thomas has a great book on marriage, Sacred Marriage, that we'd like to have translated and printed in Russian as a resource across Russia for Christian marriages and God's glory.  ($6000)

3) Across the border - According to Russian visa law, at the six month mark we have to leave and re-enter the country in order to maintain legal registration. In February, we'll need to pack up the fam, head across the border to a nearby country (such as Finland, 14 hours by train) and come back! It's amazing the hoops we need to jump through in order to live in Russia! ($1000)
